Overview: This project focused on family of form, each piece had to represent the iconic form of traditional pieces. While creating this set the casting process was included to help aid the unity of all six forms.
Common Piece Mold
Patina Tests
Ammonia and salt patina tests on copper.
Salt was sprinkled on the copper which sat in a container on paper towels that were dowsed in ammonia.
After 24 hours the patina created two distinct effects.
